Pyros can either follow Jerry or strike off to try to find his supplies. Which do you prefer?

Re: Act 2, Scene 2: "To Crush the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread)

After pressing the trigger, the secret door begins to swing outward. The portal opens only about 1-1/2 feet or so before grinding against something on the other side with the sound of stone-on-stone. There is a slender space, though partly blocked with rubble. It might be possible for an unarmored e...

Re: The Brink [of Madness] Act 1, Scene 1

Sounded to me like it came from below where the skeleton was... Jack says. The rest of us are all up here. he says, taking a quick count of his companions. Looking around Jag can see that indeed everyone except 'rattle' is present

Re: The Brink [of Madness] Act 1, Scene 1

As Ke'Sha and the others voice their thoughts and the necromancer begins to descend to bring the rope to rattle, there is a loud groaning noise of metal grinding. Suddenly a Deafening echo shakes the place like a wall-sized gong was struck by some Titanic hammer! In that same instant, Ke'Sha's conne...

Re: The Brink [of Madness] Act 1, Scene 1

Ke'Sha and Jack climb back out and 'Rattle' begins his descent. Ke'Sha concentrates and can see as if he were viewing from the same point in space as the skeleton. It approaches the massive door and begins to try to lift it via the bar. The truly massive door of solid iron must weigh thousands of po...

Re: Act 2, Scene 2: "To Crush the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread)

Linar leads on down the dark Dwarven stairwell. Here and there along the way triangular alcoves can be found; always with a right-angle corner on the downhill side and the lesser angle uphill. The asymetrical spaces are rather featureless, with the exception of small shelves that stand bare. The sta...

Ok, Jerry and Merrick rejoin the group outside. Elsa will tell her Mira and Esker have gone inside to look for someone directing the memorial tonight (mira wants to play something)

Re: The Brink [of Madness] Act 1, Scene 1

Jack chuckles and is alreadybwalking back towards the ladder. He communicates telepathically so the restnof the group knows what is going on. You go ahead and let your skeleton rattle-trap open the door. I'll be up top with the others.

[Ooc]Yes, 4 hrs had passed since he first cast air walk. If he wants to suggest to other characters the spell selection for tomorrow it might be wise to do so as they are preparing for bed tonight, or early next morning. Phantom armor, however, has an unusual material component, and only 1 person in...

Re: Act 2, Scene 2: "To Crush the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread)

Linar moves to one side of the hall, inspecting the wall closely. He reaches out to one of the stone blocks that appears ever-so-slightly tilted. Miraculously it turns as he twists, despite appearing firmly mortared in place. On the opposite side of the hall a secret door opens silently to reveal a ...

Re: Jerry Greystar (Chris1234)- Private Thread

Jerry makes a circuit of the building and its grounds. There seems to be no lingering sign of undead occupation. Likely the building itself is not frequented by the creature, and certainly not likely to be inhabited by it. The events of last night leading to the corpse by the inn seem to imply this ...

Re: Jerry Greystar (Chris1234)- Private Thread

Depending on how thorough she is being, it takes about 15-20 mins and she draws a few looks. Merrick accompanies her and makes some excuses, something about misplacing an item and admiring the architecture.

Let's get an observation nwp roll at say -4 (so roll vs 15 instead of 19)
