Re: Delsenora Hun'ana (Tarlyn) - Private Thread
I should really try to do something about those boot soles, way too loud she muses to herself.
These mists are annoying she thinks to herself as she hurries towards the light and,,, was that music???
Maybe this night won't be so bad after all..

Following the sound, she comes to what seems to be the only place open. The cobbles here are covered in a thin film of crimson mud, as if it had rained heavily recently and some runoff had left its trace. The ground to the right slopes steeply upward, the cobbles continuing on, but at the base of that rise stood a sturdy but somewhat average looking tavern. The plaster and beam construction was well maintained and clean, and the sign hanging above the door depicted a cart wheel with three broken spokes. [The Broken Wheel].
The door, which had not been shut completely, let out the barest glow of golden light. The sounds of music waft from within...

What is Del fishing for with the Det Noise?tarlyn wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2023 6:54 pm Del follows Esker inside. She'll tap him on the shoulder "Esker, that boy won't follow us in, he was basically sent to spy
on us, do nothing untowards to us, He is gone now," she talks in a low voice to him as he speaks to the others.
She smirks at his words to the others but says nothing. She will look around, observing only, listening if she can.

Most of the local talk is in Harmonian which she doesn't really understand much of yet; aside from what the party is discussing in Elven (which is in the main game text).
The victims look like Jerry, and some of the party are plotting an ambush at the inn for the killer.

Do you allow poison? SHe might be interested in procuring a paralysing type or sleep type which can come in handy in a pinch,,, maybe even sleeping

She would know in certain circles it is accessible but difficult. As she is new and unproven in this area it likely wouldn't be allowed or available unless she had some outside knowledge (like a friend/party member with herbalism, etc)

Yeah, Elsa or Jerry would have the knowledge. The trick there would be covincing either of them to make a poison, and of course to find the ingredients.

I want to see if there is more pc interaction to the current tension at the Broken wheel before posting the next bit, but I haven't forgotten about you

So if we can actually lure this cretin into a trap, Del is going to suggest using a very strong sleeping poison or something along the lines.
Not to kill, to subdue or even incapcitate this person. I am hoping Elsa agrees with it as it is not to kill but to incapacitate the foe.
So sleeping or paralysing would be the best.

Delsenora's father's deity is Lathander the Morninglord,,, might he have told her how to really kill one or she has no idea?
