Okay, so the chapter is over and I'm taking a hiatus from this game, at least until after the holidays are over. In the meantime, I'll work on figuring out XP (I didn't mean to let this chapter run so long; I was going to break it up into two chapters, one for the boat and one for the undersea adventure, but then I forgot), fixing up inventories, prepping the new module, and summarizing the most recent chapter.

We'll start the new chapter with the party being reunited in Silvanesti. Beyond that, I don't have much to say for the time being. Feedback, etc., is always welcome. This game has been going for over two years now; I need a bit of a vacation...

Yes, it's been two and a half year now that we began... gaming, and this game in particular, has become an integral part of my life. It was good, however, that Babushka was a little cut off from the action, because this fall has been a very busy time for me.

But I am looking very much forward to the time when we can go on!

Enjoy your holidays, everyone, and you in particular, Jaded.

Its amazing this has been going this long!

Jerrard is my favourite Character, because he has been around so long.

One comment, he knows how to take a hint, and wouldn't have hit on Imani again!

Enjoy your holiday, and I look forward to see what happens next.

Enjoy your holiday, and do we know how much money was taken from the Horizon Seeker?

She told him outright that she 'shouldn't be in the running.' I also thought Horizon did an admirable job of roleplaying how uncomfortable Imani was with his advances. I thought the fact that he continued to persist was intentional on your part.
...do we know how much money was taken from the Horizon Seeker?
It was roughly a thousand steel.

Ahh you mean pulling her close? He was trying to keep her in the bubble, the guy can take a hint!

Great, so if we find him, we can give it back, if we don't.....

Ah, but the bubble was at least ten feet in diameter, so I assumed Jerrard had an ulterior motive there. :P

LOL! I think he forgot that! In all the excitement!

(He just went to bed.)

Before everyone heads off for the holidays, I wanted to quickly discuss treasure division.

The money is easy enough. There's 4,000 steel pieces, so each of you get 1,000.

But there's also the matter of the two potions, the wand, the small-sized chain mail, and the man-sized plate mail.

In addition, the Dimernesti are willing to allow the party to keep the Ring of Free Action and the Ring of Swimming.

So who wants what?

I'm out of the discussion, since Babushka was not present. So it could only be that the others decide to bring her something. And they shouldn't bring her the chain mail, because she would lose her ranger bonuses wearing it.

Well The plate should go to one of the warriors, thats for certain, Ulster or Thuskar I would suggest.

Imagine a Kender in Chain mail!!
Locky would like to take the potions, nothing more, and Jerrard the wand. (Unless anyone else wants them?)

Yes, if Babushka wears the chain mail, she'd lose her free dual-wield ability and suffer a -30% to Hide in Shadows and -40% to Move Silently. This would drop her abilities to HS 6% and MS 5%, rendering them all but useless.

On the other hand, were Locky to wear it, she'd suffer some big penalties on her thief abilities, too: -40% to Pick Pockets, -15% to Open Locks, -15% to Find/Remove Traps, -40% to Move Silently, -30% to Hide in Shadows, -25% to Detect Noise, and -50% to Climb Walls.. This would drop her abilities to PP 0%, OL 25%, F/RT 15%, MS 5%, HS 15%, DN 0%, CW 0%, RL 10%.

The chain mail is too small for anyone else in the party to wear, however.

The plate mail, on the other hand, is too big for Locky or Babushka. It could be worn by Jerrard (although he'd lose his spellcasting), Imani, Ulster, or Thuskar. Temeral could wear it, but it would destroy his thief skills.

I dont see Imani wearing it, not her style, so... hey. We could sell the chain I suppose, and see what we get... What we need is a nice detect magic spell.

;)

Even if you decide to sell some of the items, I still need to know who is going to carry them until then, for inventory purposes.

All I have so far is that Locky wants the potions and Jerrard wants the wand. That still leaves the two suits of armor and the two rings, though.
