Woody will position him self at the edge of the South West junction. The square before it curls to become the SE junction.

Disadvantage History (0): [1d20] = 2 , [1d20] = 19
Whoo! Disadvantage! lol

He fishes out a vial of yellow liquid from his pack and says "I am unsure if this is the best time, but this potion can magically disguise a person. If you know the features of whom you want to look like then this shall make you appear to be them for one hour."

Jim will take Sue's cue as to where to position himself.

The group collectively recall:
Taffis was a knife-fighter of average height and build with short dark hair and an eminently forgettable face. He was wearing common clothes with high boots and a backpack. Unusual were his underclothes, white with tiny sown in flowers, and a tattoo on an upper arm: the mark of the Six Hands gang. Their whose turf is the seawards strip of Dock Ward. They specialise in cargo-theft and smuggling. His possessions included a belt, dagger, backpack and a ring.

Woody has a backpack, a brass ring and common clothes, a belt and a dagger.

Woody will try his best to dress appropriately be the description given.

Sue will produce the ring or rings he got from the investigation of the body.

It was the minotaur ring and a simple one right?

So we know if they have an accent or way of speaking in those areas?

Can Woody do a minor illusion to look like the tattoo?

Gripping the bottle around the neck, Jim casually swings it to and fro a time or two before questioning Woody and Sue "So that is a no on the magic disguise in a bottle then?"

"I do believe we have enough information to use this bottle. Is it best for me to use it or Sue. Sue did you not see the dead body? Did you get a good look?"

"Yes, but my memory is the worst." Sue will describe the physical features as good as possible, but as you said his face was incredibly bland and forgettable.

OCC: I think we have enough information to go on. If Woody drinks the potion from Jim he would be able to have the tattoo illusion as part of his appearance.

"Jim pass me that potion." Woody will drink it 10 minutes before the meeting or if he sees someone approach from the intended direction.

Jim hands the bottle to Woody "Sure thing Woody. You are the expert on magic. You say a description is good enough for it to work so it must be."

Flashes of light can be seen from the expected direction (NE).
It becomes apparent that it's a lantern held by someone approaching. Or by the sounds, it's several someones.

***
There's still time for any of adventuers to move or change position.
Daren whispers, "They're only expecting one of us to be here, right?" and then retreats back down the southwestern tunnel.
