[4d6]=9[4d6]=16[4d6]=17[4d6]=8[4d6]=14[4d6]=15[4d6]=9
I didn't know the ID for the game so I used Delsenora as the roller so I'll drop the lowest score and there we have it.
Level 15 Necroamncer, not a Death Hunter
I'll roll up her hp later on.

I'll make a list of items I would like to own, magical that is.. as well.
And also a Svirfneblin, why not!
This evening and tomorrow as we play board games all day today.

There are other options for good necromancers as well.
And if you simply don't want to be evil, you could play a neutral necromancer. The bodies are just tools, the soul is gone, it's just a meat-robot. To let them lie would be wasteful.
There is the Anatomist (frankenstein ish mad scientist type wizard) who can be any alignment.
The philosopher who summons fiends for secret knowledge but otherwise operates like a wiz
Even the Undead Master like Bish' character can be neutral
There is also a witch kit from complete wizard i think that could make a good necromancer

Re: Tarlyn (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness
no worries, for now it's fine as long as you have them linked to a character. When you get a chance you can change them over to the proper campaign id (below) but no big rushtarlyn wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 7:32 am [4d6]=9[4d6]=16[4d6]=17[4d6]=8[4d6]=14[4d6]=15[4d6]=9

Also, it looks like you have Delsenora on a campaign called Marnah? The campaign id for ravenloft is 352
The campaign id for the Labyrinth is 1035

so the allowable amount for magic items is (from the rules thread)tarlyn wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 5:08 pm Magical Items

Wand of Magic Missiles
7,500 xp worth of magic items, but no more than One with xp value over 2,000, and nothing over 3,000
Ring of Wizardry is 4000 xp (not allowed, over 3k xp for one item)
Cloak of protection 1000 per plus so +3= 3000xp
Staff of Withering 8k xp not allowed (too expensive)
Bag of holding is free (see the rules thread. you can either roll 1d4 for type OR choose the girdle of many pouches OR the Haversack)
Pouch of Accessibility 1500xp
Boots of Elvenkind 1000 xp
Ioun stone 300xp (only one stone allowed. can only raise int to max of 18, not above)
Tome of clear thought 8000 xp, not allowed (too expensive)
Wand of magic missiles 4000 xp, not allowed (too expensive)
Potions of healing are fine, but you have to tell me how many you want

I would like to use the Spells & Magic book , if only for spell choices is that works for you.

Re: Tarlyn (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness
Nice! That roll means she has the largest of the Bags of holding
weighing 60 lbs (no matter the contents) with an storage limit of 1,500 lbs and 250 cubic ft
The only real restriction on what she can put into it aside from that is the opening of the bag is a 3 ft diameter
(it essentially looks like a big duffel bag that opens from one end)
Yeah the "Spells and Magic" book is all good for the spells available there.
The number of spellbooks will be determined after her spells are selected. For this game essentially I don't restrict how many books she gets so she is essentially only limited by her intelligence (18 spells per spell level)
and the details in the rules thread on spell acquisition.
Please take a look at the "Starter Spells" section in the rules thread before beginning, it will answer many questions.
Don't worry about rolling % chance to learn except for the highest level spells

Thanks.
Maybe you can have equivalent "kit" attributes to replace the death-slayer. Some custom features.
I think that only Aura of life (in 5th version) really conflicts. That, and the incontrollable desire to destroy any undead in the path.

Re: Tarlyn (Private thread) Labyrinth of Madness
So Myth weavers has a slot for adding Memorised spells which is fine.
However the spellbbok[s] can hold up to 18 per/level
I could put them here in this thread if you like and which book they are from.
On myth weavers I can just put what is memorised keeping in mind she gets 1 extra Necro spell per level... is that okay with you?
Since this is a dungeon crawl it shouldn't really matter if anyone else sees my spellbook, should it?
