Re: Back!
I am right with you Brightmantle on doing home-brew. In fact, back in the day when I posted here a lot I was getting some great input for my home-brew world: http://arborris.wiki-site.com/index.php/Main_Page When I am DM'ing for a serious long term group, this is almost always what I would use, that...

Re: Back!
The warm welcomes here are great
My question was about 2nd Edition AD&D Modules, I am looking for some classic non-theme-heavy adventure modules that are worth a darn. Jaded already threw a recommendation my way, but I am always happy for more info if you have it.

Back!
HELLO! We have two forums now? I had forgotten :D I had posted on the others, but not here, so here goes: Hello everyone. Glad to see the borg still up and running. This place is awesome, it has been awesome. For those of you who don't know me, I started posting here... in 2004? Maybe 2005? Back whe...

That city map is fantastic. And in general I thought that CC3 was pretty fantastic for city mapping. Unfortunately, I found it incredibly difficult for land mass mapping, or whole world mapping. Maybe I just didn't have the patience to work through it. I watched the tutorials several times, and stil...

Thanks Cole, I appreciate the list. It is pretty comprehensive, now all I need are some ideas implementing it into the WW system. And hey, who knows, the other posters of PADND might think of something else as well. I have found that many powers can be simplified into more basic versions, and that m...

Superheroes RPG
Hey guys, I think I discussed this on another thread at some point, but I have sort of rebooted this RPG and I want to get some ideas and input. Basically, my friend Punitive_Damages and I have together created a Superheroes RPG that is based on the mechanics of the 1st ed White Wolf world. PD did m...

I think it depends on the detail. For current stuff, such as clothing, style, personality, goals, quirks, manerisms, and description... I would say as detailed as you can be. For background stuff I would say you want to have some moderation. And thats mainly so that you can leave room for the DM to ...

Wow, great questions. As a Player: Best: Dragons, bar none. They allow for great flexibility, they are difficult, they are huge, they are classic, and they come with a buttload of treasure. That said, they are also rare, and I recognize that they are more of the BBEBG kind of creature. So as far as ...

Haha, I love it IL. Thats great. And remember, you don't have to get that detailed... but you can mix it up. Player: I dive towards my foe, striking low! (attack), (rolls a 4) DM: The Orc parries your blow, he's a crafty sunuva... Player: I'll roll to the side, jump up and try to hit above his shiel...

Um. Gotta agree with IL. That's just a different wording of what I said, save maybe for evil (what I can say, I prefer my evil to be more interesting then being selfish. Because of this, I would label someone like Jack Bauer from 24 as Evil because of his methods). Actually, maybe in a vague manner...
