I don't know whether to laugh or not at this..
My name is david. I currently have 1 david in the group, a 2nd on the way, and a 3rd who says he'd like to join, next month.. So that's making 4 'daves' in a group of 9 players and 1 DM..
Has anyone had something similar?
How many 'names' the same in your group??

I've had two Todds at times. There was a while where the three of us (I'm not a Todd, but my name also starts with T) were housemates and often played together in a small group of 4. Also the three of us (housemates) all shared the same middle name.

Now that you mention it, I did once run a game with two Travis's. But one of him preferred to go by William anyway, so it wasn't a hassle.

I seem to be the only responding who hasn't had that come up.

We had two guys name Scot in our group years ago. We called on Scooter and the other SV (his initials).

When you aren't living in Italy and your name is Gianfranco this is never an issue, or almost never, even the players with more common names didn't have it though (in my game group), but that's what nicknames are for.
Every minute is a year of struggle
